Exectutive portraits with a fun, contemporary twist.
We are available for commercial photography work in Auckland, Hamilton, the Bay of Plenty, and surrounding areas.

We work to deadlines – for media releases and PR work, we can often deliver same-day images.
Our photography is fun, artistic, relaxed, and modern.
Who Are We?
Perspectives Photography is the vision of award winning husband & wife photography team Isaac & Amber de Reus.
We are primarily wedding photographers, and our corporate portraiture and event coverage has evolved from the approach we take with weddings. When covering events, just like weddings, you shouldn’t notice we’re there. We document what’s happening, unobtrusively.
Our executive portraits are undertaken in a light hearted, fun style – where we aim to relax our subjects & take natural, modern images with a creative difference.
We are based in Auckland, but can travel to Hamilton, Raglan, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Coromandel – anywhere in NZ!
Perspectives Photography – a unique point of view.
The Process
First, have a look through our galleries of work, to see our style of shooting – we enjoy using creative backgrounds & bold colours – photography that makes a statement about you, your staff, and your business.
Then send through a brief of the job – detailing what kind of work it is, and how many images you’re looking for.
We’ll send you a quote. We base all our work on a set rate of $150 per hour. Travel is $0.80c per km. That’s about all you need to know to get the sign-off on the job!
After the shoot, we’ll need to edit the images. Our editing time is also charged at the same $150 an hour cost, split into 10 minute blocks.
Once the images are edited, we deliver you high resoultion digital files, for use on websites, in print, and on billboards.
The Recipe
Previsualisation – finding the best location & light.
Posing – Making people look natural, and look good.
Connection – relaxing people in front of the camera, getting to know them, drawing out their natural humour, not a forced smile.
Click. Click. Bad joke. Laugh. Click.
Home. Upload images. We’re only halfway there.
Computer, colour, levels, tones, details. Relooking. Starting again from scratch with a totally different effect. Repeat multiple times. Finishing to perfection. Printing to perfection.
These are the ingredients that go into producing a piece of art.
Less than that, it’s just a picture.
